For my Mother in Law

I love this lay out. This is an ancient SEI paper, picked two awesome pictures and piled on the chip board.
Some light misting using a Prima mask, a Studio Calico stamp, and some cutting with Webster's paper.

Sometimes, when I totally run out of ideas, I let the punches do the work for me.
I just need papers that match to get my mojo going.
I used a bunch of Making Memories 8x11 papers, and made a series of lay outs from them.

When I have some free time, I pre cut some of those flowers. Which is so cool, whenever I need an embellishment, I just stick one on.

Quick & Easy

Karen and I were not in the mood for scrapping. We managed to get these two out, before heading for home.

Back to Times and Seasons

My best friend Katcho gave me this huge stack of K&Co papers that up to now, I am still working my magic on. I made those gorgeous flowers from the K& Co. papers and used a sizzix die, with some Vellum die cut flowers thrown in there. I used buttons purchased from Divi. I love those neutral colored flowers. Because I just add them to any lay outs I am working on.

Still working on some more lay outs from Times and Seasons. Karen, Vivian and I are working on the same papers.
I think that's important. Because for one, we all use the same tools. We motivate each other to work faster and be more productive.

I found this great picture of me and Beth working in a scrapbooking class. Two friends totally loving the moment.
I used to travel with this Elmo in my backpack. Elmo went with me everywhere. Got lost in Bacolod. He has since retired from travelling.
My hubby caught in mid-snack.
Trying out wedding gowns in the house.

Getting my feet wet.

I have been cleaning up a bit. I have been trying to keep up with my mess.
I figured that if I scrap fast enough, then maybe I wouldn't have to worry so much about creating the perfect scrap space.
So I try to keep like stuff in a basket. I put away my Prima resins. I found some more felt embellies. I spent half the day looking for my dusty attic chipboards. Cleaned up. Made a lay out. And now, I can't find my favorite scissors and it's driving me bananas.
Welcome to my crazy world.

Hiatus

I stopped scrapping. First time it ever happened to me. I lost my mojo, somewhere.
In a week, I was only able to make 5 lay outs.
Somehow, scrapping was not so important in the scheme of things.
And then my niece Hana, gifted me with 27 scissors yesterday. And I have been scrapping ever since.
I do have the best nieces ever.
Thanks to Karen for providing the sketches. I was able to make 5 lay outs off of Times and Seasons. More to come.

Bessie's Smashbook

A group of us are making a self made smash book, to be swapped among ourselves. So far we have made tags, a love tag, a 6x6 album page so we can complete our own mini album made by different people. And now, a smash book. By far, this is the most time consuming and most fun to do!

And so here's mine. My recipient is Dr. Sharon Chua. I hope she loves this.
The front.
This is actually a giveway organizer given to me in Bangkok from Nitaya. She has a store that sells meds there. And she is always so accomodating whenever we stop by.
I've never actually used this organizer. And it is just the perfect size for this project. 6x9 inches.

The back.
Some of the inside pages.
Honestly, I got carried away doing this. It is so thick that the pages won't lay down flat.
I have to give it to Sharon, fast before the clasp of the smash book won't close.

I took the easy way out with this smash. You see, I own a zutter but haven't really figured out how to use it. This binder made life so much simpler.

Scrapping Along

The only lay out I made last Wednesday. I was busy doing the smash book. I am totally obsessing over the smash book for the past couple of days.
Back to the lay out, used MME papers. Thanks Iris, for letting me use your Cheery Lynn Dies. Very beautiful.

I did not buy the Lasting Kit for Feb. I have most of the papers already. I just substituted some papers. I did not want to spend so much money, when I have a ton of paper, just lying around.
