Splash!

Seventeen lay outs from the Splash kit! I did add two papers. One is the borders and the other is the atc page like the I wish I was a Fish above from Helen at Memorylane store.
This is my favorite lay out, but you have to really look carefully at the page, there are punched borders that drowned in the white on white back ground.
I scraplifted 11 from Karen, and made the rest myself based on sketches.
I should have turned off the flash.

Based on a sketch

Playing along with Reg! This was based on a Sassy Lil' Sketches Lay Out Sketch. Hmm, talk about a mouthfull.
Sketches are perfect for when you are in a rut and don't know what to do. Plus, you get to use all of your old papers! Yay!

Birthday Kit

Bring your own old keys and see you on Wednesday.

An Afternoon at Memory Lane

So finally we had a lovely afternoon spent at Memory Lane store. Karen came up with these two amazing lay outs. The above uses Tim Holtz on the edge dies and those machine cogs. Karen is a huge Tim fan.

And on the bottom page, Basic Grey papers were used and this other paper, the one with the dog riding on the scooter. A picnic on Lake Berryessa. One of the best places on earth.

Afternoon Beauties

I love Wednesdays, because not only do you make new friends, you also make works of art. Well, Iris makes them and the rest of us just copies! What can I say, Iris is truly talented. I just hope that one day, I can bust out and find my own way of scrapping.

Arlene and I didn't have Dusty Attic chipboard for the window frame, so we just made our own. Chipboard, knife and a slap of paint was all we needed.

The Pink Paislee page. Finally after 4 years, I found this guy who was able to get our pictures out of youtube. Yay! Excellent pictures from Eddieboy Escudero.
A happy Sassafrass page, immediately right after landing in Iloilo.
Loving my honey's man purse. hehehe. Of course he was holding it for me because it was just too heavy.

Again, shortage of Dusty Attic chipboard ended with me using this Kaisercraft chipboard, and I just painted it with gold. Arlene was more than generous, she and I just halved whatever paper she purchased. And she even gave me trims. Talk about one generous spirit.
May there be more fruitful Wednesday afternoons, with generous fun loving friends creating works of art.
