Mini Album Swap

I love joining swaps. You get stuff made by other people. They labor over it. You realize that people are creative differently, and we celebrate that!
For this page swap due on Feb 27, we are supposed to follow a sketch, and make both the front and the back.
So this is my front and back page.
I went nuts cutting so many flowers, the butterflies and the bikes. I die cut the felt trees, and the corrugated heart. Used some EK and a Martha Punch. Stamped with paint. Misted some. Hand cut the shaped page, and put paint on the edges.
And since I couldn't sleep early last night, I ended up making inner pages. Nothing too fancy.
I am very happy I was able to buy a pack of 20 pcs. Making Memories paper for $2. And I used that for everything in this swap.

the Lion is a page marker. And the bird is from Prima. The bird cage is a Tim Holtz die, and painted gold.
Looking forward to receiving every body's pages.

On a roll

I am lucky enough to be able to scrap at work. Well I wish, I could scrap for a living. Ahem, so enough already.
The above lay out, is " I love you this much." Which goes to show, my husband is such a hoot.
A Perfect Memory is lay out of our vacation in Ho Chi Minh with my Parents in law.

Beautiful get away, is from our vacation in Anvaya cove. I used a Cosmo Cricket paper pack for all the lay outs above. Let me see, how many lay outs I would be able to make with this kit.

Rainy Day

It rained in Manila today. One of the things I love about rainy days, is that for a day of such crappy weather, you can turn it around and make it into a fun day. Make it a crop day!

January #7 lay out Based on a sketch by Ria Mojica. One of the truly creative people I've ever met.

January #6 Aren't you just loving the glitz and the glamour of the MME Lost and Found two papers? I am slowly making my way through the pile. The picture is a view from within a river boat on the Danube. What an idyllic day.
January #5 Scraplifted from Iris, scrapping pictures from Bellarocca.

January #4 Somewhere beyond the sea. Using pink paislee papers, loving the cool colors.

My Loves

A pretty picture of my nieces Hana and Corinne. Used Lost and Found two paper, prima butterfly and flower from Prima. A Webster's bloom, giveaway from a recent Iris class. A pink paislee body form, and a Tim Holtz movers and shapers body form from Sharon. Thank you!
Lace purchased from Divi. I purchased it in bulk from the sale bin. Now I can use so much without bothering about the cost.

As an architect, my hubby is always fascinated with buildings. Here he is, enjoying the Hongkong skyline. Used Basic Grey papers.

Jan 2012

My first lay out for the year! I used a tag I made for the tag swap. I used a DCWV paper mixed with Lost and Found 2, and embellishments.
I also used a couple of Sizzix dies for this lay out, and a Martha flower punch. I also a tag die cut from a Pink Paislee Mistable paper. I also included a Maya Road Clock.
Love the lace from Divi.
Thanks to Marian for letting me use her new Cheery Lynn Vine die. So beautiful!
And in the pic are the lovely ladies who love to create: Iris, Vivian, Reggie and Me.
