Thanks Tonic!

I love Tonic!  I have most of their tools.  I have two of their paper trimmers,  love their scissors.  I have the Tim Holtz paper piercer and the knife.
  Just Good Stuff.
So what happens when their good stuff, becomes injured?  My ruler at the bottom of the paper trimmer lost one of its metal parts.  I had the handyman replace it,  but it still swings out.  Driving me nuts.
I wrote Tonic  and explained my predicament.  I love this paper trimmer  but it is driving me bananas.  What to do?  Buy another one.  Trash this one.
The sent me the metal part I was missing.  So thank you Tonic.  I am still enjoying a great crafting moment because of you.

A New Bag!

I bought this lovely antique case for 200 pesos or $4.  So pretty.  Notice the wooden details on the bag?  Reminds me of a Tim Holtz Vagabond!  I was so excited and texted my friend Karen, deciding on what to place inside.  My distress ink pads?  My embossing powders?
Joy!  Joy!

My Heat gun and embossing powders are now housed in a chic case.  Yay!
A place for everything.  Trying to keep a system in this chaos.
I am on a scrap hiatus for this week.  My hubby and I are travelling,  and I wish to preserve the cleanliness of my scrap area.  I don't want to leave a mess.

The Alice Swap

Up for a tag swap.  Our theme is Alice in Wonderland.  I was stumped.  I truly was.  I did not know where to begin or how to go along about it.  Either go for a mad hatter theme/ a tea party.  Oh for all you know, I was all for butchering an Alice in Wonderland book and using the pages for background.
I used a sizzix frame, but threw out the frame, and just used the inside oval for a uniform cut.  I stamped Love, the tea pot and the Fiskars love stamp for the sentiment.  I used making memories for the pink polka dot background and the flowers.
I think I should stop now.  I am all for piling on embelishments, but so far have not found the right ones.

Saturday's Class

What's a good way to spend National Scrapbooking Day?  Why scrapping, of course.  I took a class with Iris Uy, and came up with the following lay outs:
