Lay outs for Memorylane store

If you have time to go to Memory Lane store this week end, it's Helen's birthday. For sure there will be lots of food in the Thanksgiving merienda and astounding discounts.
For this lay out, I used some crate paper for the cards. Ordinary playing cards will do. Helen also has this DCWV dice paper in the sale bin. Ha ha. I am such a cheapskate. I only buy if it is on sale.
I used Tim Holtz florettes die for this lay out. Very easy.

This is a flower we made during Ria's class last Sat.

And here is the flower used on a lay out already. Glitz back ground stamp used here. I can't wait to try out the Glitz 3 back ground stamp. Also used a Kaisercraft paper here, available at Memorylane store.

For the Record

Numbers. I think I finished less than 50 LO's. As you can imagine, sukang suka na ako sa For the Record. My favourite to date is still Be Mine. With one kit, we were able to make 30+ lay outs and just added a few same colored papers.
I purchased three sets of For the Record. For the Record is compatible with Jenni Bowlin papers and some 7 Gypsies ones too. Sorry if I load on some of the pics twice. It gets tedious after a while.

To start off, I was running out of papers when I made this one. So I just substituted this paper from Crate, and it worked out great.
Got this gorgeous ephemera from a book I purchased for 115 pesos. Awesome, because most of the time, I am just grasping for words. And I just cut up the book and stick them to my pages.
I sprinkled MM paint on the paper to mimic misting.

I love the Coca Cols die cut using Karen's Tim Holtz flower. For me, it mimics the Rising Sun in the Japanese Flag.

The lay out above with the beautiful misting of the doily is scrap lifted from Ria. Very talented and an eye for beauty.
And the following six lay outs below are scraplifted from Iris. Everything Iris makes is so pretty. Definitely one of my idols.

More lay outs to come. I just have to take photos of them.
